The Security Assistant Safety Manager is responsible for the overall day to day supervision of the Security Dispatch Officers and Security Patrol Officers. The Security Manager is responsible for reviewing the daily and shift paperwork for errors and omissions, institutes policy and procedure changes mandated by the Administration of Callaway Gardens, serves as a member of the communications team, works closely with every department at Callaway Gardens to ensure the smooth and seamless daily operations to ensure the best guest experience possible, participates and facilitates continuing training and certifications, prepares weekly work schedules for security and dispatch officers, works as a liaison between local law enforcement officials and Callaway Gardens, and assist with coordinating special events and activities.College degree required, and at least 5 years of experience in Security Supervision.Experience in hotel or hospitality related field helpful.Must have a valid driver's license from appropriate state.Must be a self starter and able to work with little supervision.Must be CPR and First Aid certified.Proficient in Microsoft applications, ( Word, Excel, Power Point)Long hours sometimes required.Evening, weekend and Holiday work schedules.Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Ability to stand and or sit for long hours at a time

Be able to positively motivate and lead a team, conveying information and ideas clearly and effectively so that ownership of high levels of guest service is understood to be the role of each individual team member.Be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.Be able to work well in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity, including the ability to listen carefully to and resolve guest issues to the satisfaction of the affected guests.Be able to identify potential guest issues and then develop methodologies to prevent or limit the impact of those guest issues during the course of guest visits.Be able to assimilate complex information and data for various sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.Be able to effectively listen to, understand, and clarify concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.Be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and perform basic math functions.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Callaway standards, as required by scheduling that will vary according to the needs of Callaway Gardens' business levels.Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming to include wearing a nametag when working.Comply at all times with Callaway standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times with both team members and guests. Have knowledge and understanding of all department policies and procedures, and communicate and enforce all policies fairly and consistently with staff.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.Attend all meetings/training as required by supervisor or manager.Non-exempt-overtime eligible managers are expected to work 40 hours per week to earn their full pay potential. Overtime is prohibited from being worked without approval from you supervisor in writing prior to the overtime hours being worked. Working overtime hours without permission will result in disciplinary action.
